When using battery-powered PAR lights, many customers are unfamiliar with how to connect them to a lighting console using a wireless transmitter. Let me now demonstrate the specific steps. The premise is that all our manufactured battery PAR lights have a built-in wireless receiver module. Therefore, any wireless DMX transmitter that supports 2.4G can directly control the battery PAR lights.
Two accessories need to be prepared in advance:
1. A lighting console that supports the DMX control protocol;
2. A wireless transmitter that supports 2.4G.
First, connect the wireless DMX transmitter to the lighting console. The wireless transmitter demonstrated here is a portable 2.4G model, which requires a power connection to function. Indicator light descriptions:
In a non-transmitting state, the red light remains steadily lit.
After connecting to the DMX console, the red light will blink, indicating signals are being transmitted.
If the red or green light stays solid after connecting to the DMX console, it means the transmitter isn't properly connected. Use a pin to press the reset button to reset the transmitter, after which it should connect to the console normally.
Step 2, check whether the 2.4G wireless reception function is enabled on the battery-powered PAR light.
Steps:
Menu → Settings → 2.4G Wireless Function, press ENTER to enter. Check if it is enabled. If it shows "ON", it means the wireless function is activated. If it displays "OFF", switch it to the "ON" state.
Finally, push the fader on the DMX console to test whether it can control the operation of the PAR light. If you encounter other questions or problems, you can refer to the video.
